Dave and I met at a gas station through some neutral friends. Little did i know, our relationship would blossom into such a permanent change of which I am completely thankful for. I currently work at an assisted living nursing home in Fairfield Ohio. It is called Fairfield Pavilion and it is directly across from Jungle Jim's grocery store. I enjoy this job because of the relationships I have made throughout my time working there with both residents and coworkers.I decided I wanted to be a teacher three years ago, at first I wasn't sure education was the right profession for me, but as I attended more and more classes I realized that it was the exact profession I had been searching for. My main goal is to be A k-3 teacher.
- Professional Goals I am attending University of Cincinnati in order to finish up my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I currently have an Associates Degree through Cincinnati Statehttp://www.cincinnatistate.edu/ for Early Childhood Education. My main goal is to become a k-3 teacher. I enjoy little ones, I have come to experience many instances where I have come out of a situation the learner instead of the teacher. Being able to work with children is a blessing in disguise that I want pursue for years to come.
- Goals For This Classroom My goals for this class includes many things. I want to become more efficient when it comes to implementing and using technology within the classroom. I have never thought of myself as a technological savvy person. I know technology is very important in today's classrooms, so I would like to learn how to use technology to its fullest potential within my future classroom. I want to be able to plan a lesson and use technology to its fullest potential in order to get the children used to the technology as well. Also, there is a lot of functions computers, smart , i phones, and i pads have that I know nothing about. I want to learn about those functions and how they can be useful to education and life in general. Through our lesson plans, I hope to gain knowledge on ways to use technology in simple ways throughout the classroom on a day to day basis. Having to construct a lesson plan that incorporates some kind of technology will give me confidence to use technology in my future classroom.
This Jeopardy game would be useful in my future classroom in many ways. I could use it as a tool to quiz my students individually on specific topics and we could play games and keep score in groups which would add an element competition to the environment.

I want to be a teacher for many positive reasons, this video could give me confidence on a bad day to keep pursuing my dreams even though I may have had a hard day. It could also remind me of goals I might loose sight of over time, keeping documents of what I want to do will make me a better educator.

Our collage represents our ideas for fair use and what it means to use images legally. This collage is a fun way to teach people about fair use in education using technology. We used Bob the Builder to help demonstrate that users need to build upon the ideas of the images. They need to expand and explain for more than the original intent of the photo. The classroom photo shows that images under fair use can be used for educational purposes. Again, expanding upon and integrating new information through the existing images. We used seasons and the bumblebee picture to show that material needs to be used in a more elaborate and transformed way. Overall, if you don't elaborate or build upon the image than it is considered plagiarism which is theft!
Standards This connects to standard 4-PROMOTE AND MODEL DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP AND RESPONSIBILITY because it promotes and models digital etiquette and responsible social interactions related to the use of technology and information.
I could use this rubric or other rubrics in my future classroom in order to give my students fair grades and let them know what is expected of them when they are given an assignment. I think that using rubistar is a great way to design rubrics and share them with other teachers. I ma glad i got to experiment with this tool.

I can do things like reflect on my strengths and weaknesses as well as figure out how I would do better if I were using different body language, or if i responded differently to a certain situation.
